Sterling silver is a durable material, which is why it is so frequently used. However, silver may tarnish over time, especially when exposed to salt air or when it comes into contact with products containing sulfur, such as rubber and some types of paper, chlorine, sweat, cosmetics with active ingredients, bleach, and other chemicals. However, designer silver jewellery that is worn regularly usually requires less care, which is why we recommend you wear your silver jewellery daily.
To prevent silver from oxidizing, we recommend storing your jewellery in a safe and dry place when not in use.
To clean and polish sterling silver, rinse the jewellery thoroughly with warm water, rub it gently with a soft cloth, and dry it carefully. This will protect your jewellery from oxidizing and tarnishing, keeping it shiny and clean. Please note that chlorine and bleach accelerate oxidation and should be avoided.
Special cleaning products for silver jewelry are also commercially available. To clean your silver jewellery with such a product, leave it for 1-2 minutes, then rinse it with plenty of water and dry it. *Beware of stones and zircons which must not come into contact with this liquid.
After being cleaned and polished, sterling silver must be kept dry and stored properly in a jewellery box.
Silver jewellery with an oxidized finish is also available, where some details of the jewellery have been intentionally blackened to highlight its decorative elements. Excessive cleaning and polishing can remove this finish, so proceed with caution.
Over time it is likely that your gold jewellery will tarnish.
To clean them use warm water, mild liquid dish soap and a soft brush. There are also special reusable cleaning cloths on the market that will restore the shine of gold and make it look brand new.
To preserve the luster of your gold jewellery, avoid exposure to household cleaning supplies (e.g. bleach), which cause discoloration and possible disintegration of the gold. We recommend that you store your gold jewellery in a safe place when you engage in the following activities:

Only professional polishing will remove scratches from silver, gold, and platinum. The polishing process removes a layer of metal and should only be performed a few times during the lifetime of your jewellery by skilled personnel.

Be sure to protect your jewellery from impacts on hard surfaces. Even a diamond can shatter if hit with enough force or at just the right angle. Many stones such as amethyst, emerald, opal, pearl, tanzanite, and tourmaline are very sensitive. Enamel can also get scratched over time.
Precious stones can scratch other precious stones and wear away from precious metals. Avoid stacking rings and bracelets that are vulnerable to such abrasion. Extreme temperatures, perfumes, cosmetics, ultrasonic cleaning, and household chemicals can also damage diamonds
